EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — An El Paso athlete is once again heading to the World Championship.
After earning her spot, Laneah Bryan has been named to the final roster for the U.S Women’s National Flag Football team.
The team is set to compete at the 2026 International Federation of American Football (IFAF) Flag Football World Championship; in Düsseldorf, Germany this August.

As Bryan enters her fourth year as a member of the U.S Women’s National Team.
She stated, making the team is more then another accomplishment ” it’s an honor, and it is something I will never take for granted.”
Bryan helped team USA capture the 2024 world championship, and has represented the United Stated in international competitions help in China, Finland and Panama.
And through each new experience, she has never forgotten her favorite memory; the moment when El Pasoans’ blew up a post made by USA Football, ” there was hundreds of comments… and honestly that has probably been one of the coolest experiences I’ve had.”
“Just knowing that El Paso supports me the way they do, and has my back and is rooting for me, it means everything to me,” Bryan said.

Bryan, continues to represent her hometown while competing against some of the world’s top flag football athletes.
Bryan went to Franklin High School where she was a basketball player and once earned District 1-5A MVP honors.
After high school, Bryan earned a basketball scholarship at the University of New Mexico, where she played four seasons (2014-18) for the Lobos.
The tournament marks the final Flag Football World Championship before the sport will make its Olympic debut in the Los Angeles 2028 games.
