LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Lubbock police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash near the intersection of Milwaukee Ave. and Erskine St.
Officers were called to the area shortly before 9:40 p.m. on Thursday after a report of a crash with injuries, police said.
Investigators said Zeferino Sauceda, 48, was driving north on Milwaukee Ave. when he lost control, left the roadway and the vehicle rolled. Sauceda, the only person in the vehicle, was ejected and suffered life-threatening injuries. He was taken by ambulance to University Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
The Lubbock Police Department’s Major Crash Unit continues to investigate.
