FORT WORTH – James Michael Momentoff II, 46, passed away at his home on Thursday, June 30, 2026, following a short illness. Memorial service: 2:30 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2026, in Mount Olivet Chapel, 2301 North Sylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76111. Pastor: Lucas Biggs officiating. James was born August 31, 1979 in Bryan, Texas. As a child, James professed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and was baptized at Harvest Baptist Church. James graduated from Haltom High School where he enjoyed playing the saxophone, in marching, concert, and jazz bands. He was an avid Star Wars fan and loved online gaming with friends across the country. James was a voracious reader who enjoyed all genres. James was employed for the last eight years with Health Markets Insurance Company. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Mike Momentoff; his grandmother, Madeline Rousseau; grandparents, Ardrey and Margaret Dunham; his uncle, David Dunham; and his aunt, Dorothy LaMontagne. He is survived by his parents, James and Bonnie Momentoff; brothers, Anthony and Charles; numerous aunts; uncles; cousins; and a good friend, Scott Miley and his daughter, Cora, who loved her “Uncle Jimmy.” Donations may be made to the charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
