Who could be Ye’s surprise guest at San Antonio’s Alamodome on July 4?
The controversial rapper, who legally changed his name from Kanye West to Ye in 2021, is on tour for his 2026 album, “Bully,” which features Travis Scott, CeeLo Green and Peso Pluma.
San Antonio is his only Texas stop and one of five U.S. tour dates announced so far. Ye played two shows in Tampa last week and will play Chicago in early September. After San Antonio, his next stop is Tirana, the capital of Albania.
Ye kept his set list consistent during his Tampa shows, but his San Antonio concert could feature slight variations depending on a surprise guest. He brought Florida-born rapper Kodak Black onstage at his June 28 show, adding the songs “Roll in Peace” and “No Flockin” into the mix.
Who will join Ye on stage in San Antonio on July 4? Here are five rappers who might show up.
1. North West

Ye’s 13-year-old daughter, North West, made an appearance at the rapper’s June 28 concert, where she sang “TALKING” – a track by Ye and Ty Dolla $ign’s duo, ¥$ – and her own song “D!e” alongside her dad. Since the show falls on America’s 250th anniversary, she could also appear in San Antonio to celebrate the milestone holiday with her father.
2. Travis Scott

Travis Scott is one of the strongest candidates to be Ye’s special guest.
Ye and the Houston-born rapper made a surprise onstage appearance during Don Toliver’s show in Los Angeles on June 29. They performed the song “Father” from Ye’s new album, “Bully,” which features a verse from Scott. Both share children with Kardashian sisters – Ye with Kim Kardashian and Scott with Kylie Jenner – so there’s a good chance the two will reunite in San Antonio.
3. Don Toliver

Don Toliver is another strong contender. He’s a Houston native, but the rapper is currently in the midst of his “Octane Tour” and will be in Las Vegas on July 3 and Denver on July 5.
Toliver has been featured on Ye’s tracks, most recently “OK” from the deluxe version of Ye’s new album “BULLY.” He was also supposed to have a guest part on the track “CIRCLES,” but his part was later replaced with Ye’s vocals.
4. Drake

Drake may be Canadian, but he has long embraced Houston.
The Toronto-born rapper, who has a house in Brenham, ordered food from Lost in Da Sauce, a Houston pop-up business, on June 28. A video of him eating wings, loaded fries and sliders from a Styrofoam tray in his car went viral on social media. He also hosted a private party for women named Janice – a nod to his recent hit “Janice STFU” – at steakhouse Drake’s Hollywood (which he does not own) in the city’s Montrose neighborhood last Sunday.
If “Wheelchair Jimmy” is still rolling around Texas, there’s a chance he could appear with with Ye in San Antonio.
5. Teezo Touchdown

Beaumont-born rapper Teezo Touchdown is another contender for the surprise guest spot at Ye’s concert in San Antonio. He was featured on the unreleased track “THIRSTY” during recording sessions for Ye’s album “VULTURES 2.”
Teezo Touchdown has been low-key since releasing his 2023 album, “How Do You Sleep at Night?”, but he may be returning to the spotlight following his recent collaboration with Houston-born rapper Monaleo on her new single “Everything Pinka.”
