Texas may be full of wide open spaces, but with everything from hotels and data centers to a possible casino in development, it can feel like those wide open spaces are disappearing. Luckily there still appears to be plenty of acres waiting to be scooped up, with a handful offering aspiring ranchers the chance at acquiring their own Texas kingdom.
Multiple real estate agencies have listed properties ranging from a few hundred acres to several thousand with one property going for more than $100 million. If you’re wanting to know about the biggest and most expensive ranches for sale in Texas, here are 10 worth keeping an eye on.
Comstock Ranches
While their prices are unlisted, Texas Ranch Sales has listed four properties in Comstock, a West Texas town near Del Rio, covering a combined 84,715 acres. The Brother (26,820 acres), Blue Valley (18,940 acres) and Lane & Crane (12,301 acres) ranches are all described as hunting land, while the 26,654-acre Sister Ranch is primed for grazing and cow-calf operations.

After initially being listed in 2022, Mount Solitude Ranch has been re-listed by Icon Global for $79.9 million. Located 30 minutes outside of San Antonio in northwest Bexar County, the ranch offers 3,630 acres and history dating back to German settlers of the 1850s.
