H-E-B has been busy with store openings in North Texas of late — and now it’s ready for yet another.

The San Antonio grocer is set to open a store in Murphy on Wednesday, July 22, according to a company statement. The store will be on FM 544 in the northeast part of the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area.

H-E-B is planting new stores throughout the region, helping it better compete with entrenched retail rivals that include Walmart, Kroger, Aldi and Tom Thumb. The Texas grocer opened its namesake store in Irving last month, a spot in the Euless area in May and another in Forney earlier this year.

It also has plans for new stores in Dallas and Garland

Murphy, which is north of Garland, had about 21,000 people as of about a year ago, according to the U.S. census.

The doors are set to open at the new stores at 6 a.m.
