CANYON, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4_ — A 23-year-old El Paso man has been arrested and charged in connection with a serious single-vehicle crash that happened Sunday in Canyon, Texas.
According to Canyon Police, Jacob Saucedo is facing three counts of intoxication assault with a vehicle after the white 2026 Nissan SUV he was driving crashed into a concrete median, sending him and three other people — including a 9-month-old child– to the hospital in critical condition.
The crash happened at around 3:15 a.m. at the intersection of US-87 south and the US-60 east exit ramp.

Among the passengers rushed to the hospital was a 21-year-old pregnant woman, who authorities said lost the pregnancy due to the injuries.
Canyon authorities said the crash remains under investigation.
Saucedo was booked into the Randall County Sheriff’s Office.
