Founded in Wichita, Kansas back in 1921, White Castle is now home to more than 330 locations across 15 states, according to data compiled by ScrapeHero. More than a century into the business’ tenured history, the chain will open its first Texas outpost in The Colony, located north of Dallas.
Now, new project filings reveal it won’t be White Castle’s only North Texas restaurant. The business is slated to kickstart construction work on an estimated $2.1 million restaurant in Fort Worth in early 2027, according to project documents registered with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation on July 2.
The upcoming restaurant, located at 6013 Retail Way, Fort Worth, TX 75123, is expected to begin work in early January 2027 ahead of a tentative mid-April 2027 completion date. TDLR filings are estimates and both project costs an timelines are subject to change.
The scope of the project entails more than 2,700 square feet of development space, including a canopied, double drive-thru operation alongside an outdoor patio seating area.
