He was a devoted father to Randy Jones; Nick Jones (Karen); Randal Denney (Lacy); Laura McDowell (Tony); and Stephanie Moore (Russell). He was a proud grandfather to 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, who were a constant source of joy in his life. He is also survived by his sister, Ann Cawthon (Mark), and many beloved nieces and nephews. Charlie spent most of his career in the securities business, based out of Memphis, Tennessee, where he was known for his sharp mind and strong work ethic. He was strong-willed, smart, humorous, and boldly himself. A passionate sports fan, Charlie loved the Oklahoma Sooners, the Dallas Cowboys, and the New York Yankees, and he never hesitated to share his opinions. He was a member of Trussville Southside Baptist Church, where his faith remained central to his life. Those who knew Charlie will remember his bold personality, quick wit, and deep love for his family. His legacy of faith, hard work, and devotion will live on through the many lives he touched. The family will hold a graveside service with interment at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026, in Greenwood Memorial Park, 3100 White Settlement Road, Fort Worth, TX.
