LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Police arrested an 18-year-old in connection with the shooting death of Joe Ybarra Jr.
Keymarion Burton is charged with murder.
Just after midnight on July 5, Lubbock police responded to a shots fired called at an apartment complex near North Ithaca Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found Ybarra with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was taken to UMC where he later died.
Keymarion was arrested at a business in the 7700 block of 66th Street by investigators with the Texas Anti-Gang Center.
He was booking into the Lubbock County Detention Center on a $250,000.
