MARION COUNTY, Texas (KSLA) – The name of the victim of the June 29 shooting turned murder in Marion County has been released.
Caycen Nolan Mutai was named as the victim who was shot and killed in Jefferson, Texas, on June 29, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Department (MCSD).
Xavier Lakeno Zachery was arrested and booked into Marion County Jail the next day, on June 30.
He has been charged with murder for the shooting that resulted in the death of Mutai, says MCSD.
No other information will be released while this case is being investigated, says the sheriff’s department.
