LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Vitalant’s annual Battle of the Badges blood drive is kicking off tomorrow. Blood donations are important year round, but collections drop even more during the summer.
Lubbock’s first responders are asking you to pick a team and help donate. You can do so at the South Plains Mall between 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., from July 13 to Sunday, July 19.
When you donate, be sure to mention the competition and the department you’re backing to receive a free T-shirt and a gift card for movie tickets and popcorn.
