West Texas FC blanked the Lubbock Matadors SC, 2-0, in a USL League Two Ranger Division match at Lowrey Field in Lubbock.
West Texas FC received a goal from Kanata Taira in the 30th minute and another goal from Akaki Gvineria in the 43rd minute.
West Texas FC (5-4-3, 18 points) finished the USL League Two campaign in fourth place of the Ranger Division table, which was won by Texoma FC (9-3-0, 27 points) to claim the division’s only postseason spot.
West Texas FC posted a 2-0-1 mark against the rival Matadors (3-7-2, 11 points) during the 2026 season, its first in the USL League Two. It was West Texas FC’s second clean sheet in four days against the Matadors after West Texas FC won 1-0 on Wednesday.
