Several pets died and two firefighters were hurt during a house fire in Plano Sunday morning.
The Little Rock-Fox Fire Protection District says it was called at about 3 a.m. to the 400 block of East Steward Street for a house fire. Firefighters found the home fully engulfed in flames, which had also spread to an attached garage.
Eight residents had gotten out, but several pets died.
One firefighter was injured and treated at a medical facility. Another was treated at the scene.
The home was deemed uninhabitable.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
