After a disappointing finish to the 2025 season, the Dallas Cowboys are looking ahead to the new campaign.
Much of the focus this offseason has centered around the team’s defense, which could get a boost from new coordinator Christian Parker. The team also picked up some new names for the defensive unit, led by first-round draftees Christian Parker and Malachi Lawrence.
As the offseason moves forward and NFL teams prepare for training camp, we’re breaking down the Cowboys’ 2026 roster by position groups. Today, let’s take a look at Quinnen Williams and the defensive tackles:

2026 Dallas Cowboys defensive tackles
Quinnen Williams
Age: 28 NFL experience: 8 years
Contract: Entering Year 3 of a four-year, $96 million extension signed in 2023.
Summary: The Cowboys made a splash when they acquired Williams in a midseason trade last year. Now, he’ll get a full offseason to work in Parker’s defensive system. Williams has the versatility to make impact plays as a run-stopper and pass rusher.

Dallas’ defensive success will depend on how Williams adjusts to the new scheme.
Kenny Clark
Age: 30 NFL experience: 11 years
Contract: Entering Year 2 of a three-year, $64 million extension signed in 2024.
Summary: Clark played an important role as a veteran leader in Dallas last season. The Cowboys acquired the defensive tackle when they traded Micah Parsons to Green Bay. Clark will likely line up at nose tackle in Parker’s system, but he should have plenty of opportunities to get after the quarterback.

Clark finished his first season in Dallas with 36 total tackles, six tackles for loss and three sacks. Can he take things to another level in 2026?
Otito Ogbonnia
Age: 25 NFL experience: 5 years
Contract: Signed a one-year, $2.75 million deal this offseason.
Summary: Ogbonnia could also make his mark at the nose tackle position. The 25-year-old from Katy joined Dallas on a one-year deal after spending four seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers.

He could provide some versatility along the interior of Dallas’ defensive line.
LT Overton
Age: 21 NFL experience: Rookie
Contract: Playing on a four-year, $5.1 million rookie deal.
Summary: Dallas selected Overton in the fourth round of the 2026 NFL draft. At Alabama, Overton played over the tackle or outside of the tackle. He isn’t a typical edge rusher, but he could make an impact getting after the quarterback.

Parker wants to run a versatility-based scheme in Dallas. Overton could stand out as a defensive tackle or a big defensive end.
Jay Toia
Age: 22 NFL experience: 2 years
Contract: Entering Year 2 of a four-year, $4.3 million rookie deal.
Summary: Toia only appeared in five games as a rookie in Dallas, posting three total tackles and one quarterback hit. The Cowboys envisioned him as a run-stopping presence in the middle of the defensive line when he was drafted. He’ll have to embrace that role if he wants to stand out in Parker’s system.

Jonathan Bullard
Age: 32 NFL experience: 11 years
Contract: Signed a one-year, $2 million deal this offseason.
Summary: Like Overton, Bullard could line up as a defensive tackle or a big defensive end. Drafted in 2016, Bullard brings experience to a defensive line group going through a few changes. Bullard last played for the New Orleans Saints in 2025, where he posted 26 tackles and four tackles for loss.
