EL PASO, TEXAS — A water main break has closed a section of westbound Montana Avenue in far east El Paso, early Tuesday morning.
According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office and the Montana Vista Fire Department, westbound Montana Avenue is closed from O’Shea Road to Desert Meadows Road while utility crews work to repair the break.
Officials said motorists should use alternate routes and expect delays in the area. Drivers traveling nearby are also urged to use caution.
Authorities have not provided an estimated time for the roadway to reopen.
The Sheriff’s Office thanked the public for its patience as crews work to restore normal traffic flow.
