FORT WORTH – Dale Spence Daniel, age 71, passed from this life on July 6, 2026, in Fort Worth. Funeral Service: 12 p.m. Saturday, July 18, 2026, in Greenwood’s Live Oak Chapel, 3100 White Settlement Rd., Fort Worth, Texas 76107. Born on Aug. 31, 1954, in Dayton, Ohio, to Barbara and Walter Daniel, Dale’s early life was defined by the adventure of a military upbringing. As the son of a U.S. Air Force reconnaissance and test pilot, he grew up on bases across the country, including Wright-Patterson (OH), Edwards (CA), Maxwell (AL), Davis-Monthan (AZ), Bergstrom (TX), and Andrews (MD). He graduated from Del Valle High School in Austin in 1972 and went on to attend the University of Texas at Austin, earning dual bachelor’s degrees in economics and finance. He later completed his Master of Business Administration at the University of Texas Permian Basin. Dale began his professional journey in Houston’s oil and gas sector with Sphere Overseas Supply. A move to West Texas brought both career growth and his greatest personal milestone when he married his beloved wife, Sharon. In Odessa, he worked as comptroller for Dresser Industries and ICO Tubular Services. After relocating to the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Dale lent his talents to Contract Network and Siemens Milltronics Process Instruments before joining Infor. He spent several years there as an accounting software salesman until his retirement in 2015. Dale was an excellent salesman deeply respected by colleagues and popular with clients who were drawn to his genuine warmth and charisma. While Dale built a successful career, his true masterpiece was his family. He was a deeply devoted husband, father, and friend. This July, Dale and Sharon celebrated nearly 46 years of a beautiful, shared life. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Bradley and Robin. Dale was an avid golfer and a proud member of the Hole-in-One Club, a faithful charter member of Revive United Methodist Church in Azle, and a passionate animal lover who shared a unique, tender bond with several cats the family loved through the years. Diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2017, Dale met the challenge with incredible resilience, refusing to let it dim his spirit. He fought through the hard days with grace, drawing immense strength and camaraderie from his regular workouts with his cherished teammates at Big Heart Center for Parkinson’s Wellness in Hurst. He leaves behind a legacy of integrity, kindness, and a witty sense of humor that routinely made him the life of the party. Dale is survived by his wife, Sharon; his son, Bradley of Grand Prairie; his daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Ricardo Silveira of Plano; his sister, Diana Taucher of Valley Center, California; his brother, Dan Daniel of Paso Robles, California; as well as a loving circle of nieces, nephews, and his faithful cat, Cozi.
