There’s still time to take part in the Bandan Koro Workshop Series at Willie B. Johnson Recreation Center before the free program wraps up on Thursday, July 16.
The workshop series introduces guests to the rhythms, techniques and cultural traditions of West African drumming. Sessions are held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and are free and open to the public.
The final workshop will take place July 16, giving residents one last chance to participate before the series concludes.
