DJ Diesel, also known as Shaquille O’Neal, will be coming to El Paso in September as part of a Texas tour.
Shaq will be mixing music Thursday, Sept. 17, at 11:11, a music venue at 9740 Dyer St. Doors will open at 9 p.m.
Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 15 at discopresents.com
“I usually come to Texas once a year for my festival… but this year we’re mixing it up and doing a full Texas Takeover,” he stated on his Instagram account.

Those who have followed O’Neal’s career may know the NBA champ has had a long affinity with music and DJing since college. He used to DJ for his teammates and later started rapping in the 1990s.
He fell in love with EDM after attending an electronic music festival and launched his DJ career as DJ Diesel in 2015.
As DJ Diesel, he has performed at many of the world’s biggest electronic music festivals, including Tomorrowland and Lollapalooza.
