The Medina County Sheriff Office arrested someone after finding an explosive device in a car on Tuesday.
According to Medina County Sheriff Brown, this happened on 2269 County Road 772, in Devine, Texas.
The suspect, unidentified at this time, was taken into custody peacefully. Brown says the Lackland Air Force Base Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) Bomb Squad was called to check out the device.
After an assessment, the EOD team took it to a secure location and safely detonated the device.
Brown says the public was and is not in any immediate danger, and there remains no threat to the community.
