Shaq visiting El Paso as alter ego DJ Diesel
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Basketball Hall of Famer and NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal will be visiting El Paso later this year and turning into his alter ego — DJ Diesel.
Shaq, as he is affectionately known to millions of basketball fans, has been playing music for years and has gained quite a reputation as a disc jockey.
He is scheduled to perform Sept. 17 at El Paso music and concert venue 11:11, at 9740 Dyer.
He will also be making stops in San Antonio, Houston and Dallas.
“I usually come to Texas once a year for my festival but this year we’re mixing it up and doing a full Texas Takeover. See you in September on the road to @shaqsbassallstars,” Shaq posted on social media.
Tickets go on sale Wednesday, July 15 at discopresents.com.
