CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Heritage Park Town Clock has been a fixture in Corpus Christi for nearly 20 years, but visitors may notice it is temporarily missing.
According to the Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department, the clock has been removed for maintenance, repair and restoration. Crews used a bucket truck and flatbed trailer to carefully remove the timepiece from the park.

The city expects the work to be completed in fall 2026, weather permitting.
The Rotary Club of Corpus Christi donated and installed the clock in 2007. Parks and Recreation thanked the organization for its continued support in preserving the park fixture.
