That time of the year is back, BACK TO SCHOOL SEASON! Personally, I’m sad that summer vacation went by so fast, but If I’m being honest…. My son eats a lot so I’m glad that I won’t have to worry about feeding him every hour of the day!!
For many parents, back-to-school means shopping time! Shopping for clothes AND school supplies can get expensive, but that’s why every year 93.1 KISS hosts its annual Back-to-School Expo which gives Borderland families a full day of shopping, entertainment, giveaways, and school spirit at Cielo Vista Mall.
Whether you’re checking off your school supply list or looking for a fun family outing before the first day of class, here’s what you can expect.

The Mascot Showcase is returning, and organizers are looking for local high school mascots to represent their schools on stage. Join GECU’s award-winning mascot, Dru Blu, show off your school pride, entertain the crowd, and compete for bragging rights.
Every year we crown a local mascot as the best dancer so make sure that your school is represented and sign up before July 24th!
