The Frio River near Leakey, Texas, swelled with fast-flowing water on Wednesday, July 15, as the National Weather Service warned it could reach major flood stage further downstream at Concan.
Craig Inderwiesen captured video of the rapidly-rising water levels.
“It’s starting to flood a little bit here. We’re about a foot deeper than we were even last night,” he said.
He said the current was about 3 to 5 knots and “definitely something you don’t want to get caught in.”
