Fort Worth police confirmed a that two people drowned after a kayak overturned on the city’s eastside on Wednesday, July 15. WFAA has also reached out to Fort Worth Fire Department for more information.
Police responded to a call for a water emergency around 11:20 a.m. in the area of East Lancaster Avenue and Cooks Lane. Police said that two people were recovered after a kayak overturned.
