Satellite imagery captured torrential rainfall in Texas Hill Country, Texas, from July 13-15.
Timelapse imagery released by the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere (CIRA) shows a system moving over the region.
“Torrential rain has fallen in the Texas Hill Country over the last couple of days, resulting in life-threatening flash flooding,” CIRA wrote on X. “Some locations in the region have received over 12 inches (30 cm) of precipitation from these storms.”
