EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Three people were arrested and several outstanding traffic and criminal warrants were served last month in El Paso County, according to the Horizon City Police Department.

Police say on Saturday, Oct. 25, a multi-agency warrant round-up operation was conducted to identify, locate, and apprehend individuals with outstanding traffic-related and criminal warrants.

During the operation, officers located and detained nine individuals with a combined total of 13 outstanding traffic warrants.

All of the individuals were processed through the Horizon City Municipal Court, and over $3,000 in bond payments were collected, police said.

Additionally, officers served eight criminal warrants, resulting in three arrests. Those individuals were transported to the El Paso County Jail for booking.

“This initiative reinforces public safety by ensuring compliance with court orders and upholding the integrity of the municipal judicial system. Planning for the operation began several weeks in advance and focused on maximizing efficiency, safety, and interagency communication.”
