CHEYENNE – Junior shortstop Quentin King was 2-for-3 to help the Cheyenne Sixers pick up a 5-0 victory over Lira Baseball Academy Blue of Corpus Christi, Texas, on Wednesday in at the CABA All-American World Championship in Lubbock, Texas.
Mason Maggard, Brayden Kamarad, Demitri Cotton, Zach Hall and Kyler Hauf all had one hit and one RBI apiece. Hall’s hit was a double.
Braden Pearson struck out eight batters in his three innings on the mound. He walked one and allowed just one batter. Asher Nuland tossed 3⅓ innings of relief, fanning two and giving up two hits.
