From Thai cuisine to southern boutiques, check out some of the businesses that opened in the first half of 2026.
The Rêve Plastic Surgery team focuses on privacy and discretion, offering a concierge service to and from procedures, in-home post-operative visits, and overnight nursing care. Procedures include facial rejuvenation, breast surgery, body contouring and more.
A new location of the chain tea shop recently opened near Belterra. The Alley serves a curated selection of teas, freshly prepared tapioca and house-made cane syrup. In addition to drinks, the menu also features the business’s signature “croffles,” or crispy baked waffles.
Southern Roots Boutique
The boutique opened in downtown Dripping Springs this month, selling apparel, boots, accessories and more. The business hosted a grand opening celebration with live music by local artist Thomas Babiak, according to a Facebook post.
Hear in Texas
Local and veteran-owned by Sally and Carlos Miranda, Hear in Texas offers a range of services, including hearing assessments, cognitive screenings, cochlear implants and tinnitus management.
Beerburg Beer Garden
Beerburg Events opened a new, outdoor space featuring native landscaping this May. The business hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce on May 28th and held grand-opening events throughout the weekend. The beer garden is open 2-8 p.m. on the weekends.

Austin local Tariq Khan owns the Dripping Springs location, along with two locations in the Austin area. Golden Chick’s menu features a variety of chicken dishes such as wings, tenders, fried and roasted chicken, fried chicken sandwiches and chicken salad sandwiches. Other options include fried catfish and southern-style sides.
The Dripping Springs Community Library recently launched The Library on Wheels, which offers STEM labs, story times, cultural programs, books and technology. Anyone who lives, works or attends school in Hays County is eligible to receive a free library card. Immediate programming plans for the Library on Wheels include Dripping Springs and its extraterritorial jurisdiction.

Zen Nail Lounge
Danny Nguyen is the local owner of Zen Nail Lounge, which offers over 30 pedicure chairs, over 20 nail stations and non-toxic, odor-free services. The business held a grand-opening celebration on May 17.
Band Aid School of Music
The Austin-based music school opened a Dripping Springs location last month. Band Aid School of Music offers band programs and summer camps. Additionally, music lesson options include voice, guitar, drum, bass and piano lessons.

Suds Brothers Express Car Wash
The business offers a variety of services, including washes, polishes, wheel cleaner, bug prep, rim brightener and free mat cleans. Customers can purchase single washes or a monthly package with a range of the aforementioned services.
Dripping Springs Sports Club Warehouse
Local owner and CEO Drew Rose opened a new sports facility this spring. The facility offers volleyball courts, basketball courts and a weight room. The warehouse is just a few miles down the road from the DSSC Flex facility that opened last fall.

The Ritzy Rexann team said they wanted to bring a different take on Western style to Dripping Springs. The store offers an assortment of vintage-style pieces, including pants, blouses and jackets, as well as accessories such as jewelry and hats.
Texas Trust Law
Brad Wiewel is the owner of the estate planning and probate law firm. The firm’s main office is located in Austin at 1601 Rio Grande St., Ste. 550. The Dripping Springs location is an additional office available by appointment only.
Those looking to unwind, release tension and relieve stress can now book an appointment at Soul Retreat Spa. The spa offers services to treat a variety of issues, including neck, head, back, knee, hip and leg pain; fibromyalgia; chronic pain; tennis and golf elbow; and Sciatica pain.
Rice and Oak Thai Texas Grill Kitchen
The Thai restaurant opened early this year in downtown Dripping Springs. Rice and Oak’s menu features woks, curries, rice bowls, shareables, soups and more. Rice and Oak is owned by Siwaphan Sampaotong. Sampaotong also operated the Aroi Thai food truck in Belterra from 2014 until 2025.
