Severe flash flooding swept through Uvalde and parts of the Texas Hill Country on July 16 after torrential rain caused rivers and creeks to rapidly rise. Video shows floodwaters covering roads and surrounding areas as emergency crews responded to the disaster. At least two people were killed, Texas Governor Greg Abbott declared disaster emergencies in 59 counties, and officials said more than 230 people were rescued.
