METRORail train struck by Houston Fire vehicle in Museum District

HOUSTON – One person was sent to a hospital after a Houston Fire vehicle struck a METRORail train in the Museum District on Friday.

What we know:

A Houston METRO official confirmed the crash happened at about 12:30 p.m. near Fannin and San Jacinto Streets, close the Museum of Natural Science.

METRO Police, Houston Police, and other first responders were called to the scene.

One person on the train was taken to a hospital to be evaluated.

Houston Police are said to be leading the investigation.
