Johanna Ortiz is coming to Dallas with its approach to fashion.

The Colombian-born brand is opening at Highland Park Village’s Market for a pop-up store under a one-year lease, according to a statement. It will be a first for the brand in the state.

“We are thrilled to bring the JO world closer to our Dallas community and create a space where they can experience the craftsmanship, heritage, joy and festive spirit that are at the heart of our brand,” Johanna Ortiz, founder, CEO and creative director, said in the statement.

The new spot will cover over 300 square feet that had formerly housed the Staud brand at Market, which provides spaces under its pop-up program. Johanna Ortiz is roughly the 12th brand to participate in the initiative.

Johanna Ortiz, which gets coverage from Vogue, InStyle and Women’s Wear Daily, has a wide selection of items that includes dresses, tops and skirts, along with choices for swim and resort options, its website shows. There is also jewelry, handbags and other choices.

The company’s stores (including pop-ups) are available in places such as New York and Spain, along with, of course, Colombia.
