Catastrophic floods are once again hitting the Central Texas region, and we need your help to help those that have lost so much. The Humane Society of North Texas is partnering with Wings of Rescue to deliver emergency supplies to pets and their families affected by the floods.
How you can help
Wings of Rescue has transported abandoned pets from Central Texas to Best Friends Animal Society in Salt Lake City. Wings of Rescue will return to affected areas to deliver humanitarian and veterinary aid. The emergency supplies that you donate will be delivered on this flight. Below is a list of the most needed and essential items that you can donate:
Wet and dry dog food
Wet Dry and cat food
Cases or pallets of bottled water
Trash bags
Gallon-size Ziploc bags
Blankets, sheets, and towels
Plastic pet travel crates (all sizes)
The deadline to drop-off the items is Sunday, July 19. You can drop-off your items at the following locations:
