A Pennsylvania-based ice cream parlor has opened in Fort Worth.
Bruster’s Real Ice Cream is known for old-fashioned ice cream and waffle cones, made daily. It offers 24 flavors every day, out of more than 150 recipes that rotate year round. The brand has been around for 37 years now and operates more than 200 locations across the country.
The shop at 4560 Heritage Trace Parkway, Suite 500, opened in May, joining North Texas stores in Frisco and Richardson. The Alliance store is the first Bruster’s parlor in Tarrant County.
Alliance is growing rapidly with many new restaurants and retailers joining the area. But ice cream seems to be a popular tenant.
Boston-based The Scoop and Scootery opened in March, serving decadent ice cream sundaes filled with sauces and topped with candies and piles of whipped cream. And one of India’s largest ice cream manufacturers, Dumont Ice Cream and Creamery, filed documents for renovation at a space off North Freeway in Alliance.
Bruster’s Real Ice Cream is celebrating its grand opening. Until July 19, it is offering customers some grand opening deals.

Bruster’s grand opening weekend will feature prize wheels and face painting. However, the real prize is the grand opening deals.
Until July 19, customers can score $4 small waffle cones and $3 small cups and cake cones.
Customers can check online at the store’s page to see which flavors are available that day. As of July 17, it is offering flavors like a chocolate blackout cake, butter pecan, Southern banana pudding, chocolate peanut butter buckeye and strawberry cheesecake. The shop also sells sherbets, non-dairy and sorbet ice cream options.
Bruster’s Real Ice Cream is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The store has a drive-thru and customers can order online ahead of time through Bruster’s website or app.
