NBC 5, Telemundo 39, and Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County (UGM-TC) invite you tune in to Conversations on a Bench, a national 24-hour streaming event sponsored by UGM-TC and Citygate Network. UGM-TC President/CEO Charles Wolford will host the conversation on a bench at UGM-TC Community Outreach Center located at 2400 North Kentucky Avenue in Fort Worth starting at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 8, and Friday, October 9, rain or shine.

Conversations on a Bench is an event that has expanded across the country to various rescue missions, recovery centers, outreach groups, and other ministries across the country. For 24 hours, ministry leaders sit on a bench and listen as community members share their stories and talk about important issues, such as homelessness, addiction, and mental health. Wolford will host Fort Worth’s conversation, where meaningful discussions will break down barriers and stigmas surrounding these important and often tabooed topics.

UGM-TC’s Conversations on a Bench will be livestreamed through the UGM-TC’s Facebook and YouTube pages. Community members are encouraged to submit a question through their Facebook page, allowing the community to be a part of the conversation.
