A Dallas police patrol car and another vehicle crashed in northeast Dallas on Friday night, the department confirmed to WFAA.

Dallas police said officers responded a little before 11 p.m. to an assist officer with ambulance call in the intersection of Plano Road and east Northwest Highway. When officers got to the scene, they found a vehicle and DPD patrol car were involved in a collision. A photo obtained from the scene by WFAA shows the DPD patrol car with significant damage to the driver’s side rear end.

According to DPD, the officer was treated and released at the scene by Dallas Fire-Rescue, and there were no other injuries reported in the crash. No arrests were made in relation to the crash either, DPD said.

No further information was immediately available.
