SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -Last Saturday Jack Radel of Sioux Falls heard his named called in the first round of the Major League Baseball Draft.
And he’s excited to be going to the Houston Astros who need young pitching and are known for developing young talent from within.
Jack Radel says, “Yeah no they’ve developed some great players and they’ve built up that winning culture like I said, so it’s good knowing they are able to do something like that. It kind of gives you a sort of comfort in your organization.”
I’ll have much more on Jack next Monday when he is our Athlete of the Week. And hopefully by then he’s signed a contract and is being introduced at an Astros home game.
