On Sunday at 11:05 p.m. a heat advisory was issued by the NWS Fort Worth TX valid for Monday between noon and 8 p.m. The advisory is for Wise, Denton, Collin, Parker, Tarrant, Dallas, Hood, Johnson, Montague, Cooke, Grayson, Fannin, Lamar, Jack, Hunt, Delta, Hopkins, Palo Pinto, Rockwall, Kaufman, Van Zandt, Rains, Somervell, Ellis, Henderson, Bosque, Hill, Navarro, Freestone, Anderson, Bell, McLennan, Falls, Limestone, Leon, Milam and Robertson counties.
The NWS informs, “Heat index values up to 108 degrees expected.”
“Hot temperatures and high humidity will increase the risk for heat-related illnesses to occur, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities,” says the NWS.
This advisory is in effect until Monday at 8 p.m.
