Traffic delays expected on SH 188 in Aransas County during resurfacing project July 20-21

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A resurfacing project is underway in Aransas County along SH 188 – meaning a change to traffic flow for Eastbound drivers.

Construction is set to take place July 20-21 between FM 1069 and Port Bay from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. During these times, the Eastbound lane of SH 188 will be closed to traffic.

Drivers in the area are asked to expect delays, slow down and watch for workers guiding traffic along the highway.

The project aims to restore the road’s surface and should wrap by Tuesday evening, July 21.
