EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso County announced it is now accepting sealed bids from experienced contractors for the Ascension Roadway Reconstruction Project.
According to county officials, the infrastructure initiative will completely rebuild a roadway in Far East El Paso to increase safety measures and connect Horizon and Montana Vista.
County officials stated they aim to partner with a qualified firm to guarantee continuous, seamless operations throughout construction.
Bidding begins Thursday, Aug 20, at 2 p.m.
Responses to bids must be submitted either as hard copies to the Purchasing Office located at 800 East Overland Avenue, Suite 300, or electronically via the County’s bidding portal.
The deadline for receipt of written questions shall be 12:00 p.m., Thursday, Aug 2026.
All questions should be submitted in writing and sent via the Question tab of the e-bidding system, or emailed to bidquestions@epcounty.com.
If emailed, the Bid number and the title must be on the “Subject Line.” All questions and their responses will be posted on the website and available for download by respondents after the deadline for questions.
