– From longtime collectors to those searching for their very first signature scent, fragrance lovers have something new to experience in Houston.
The inaugural Global Fragrance Convention, known as FRAGCON, is bringing together fragrance houses, independent brands, perfumers, retailers, content creators, and enthusiasts from around the world for a first-of-its-kind event celebrating the art and community of fragrance.
Founder and Executive Producer Clara Igwala-Anumege created FRAGCON after noticing a gap in the industry. While fragrance expos and trade shows exist, there wasn’t a convention dedicated to bringing the entire fragrance community together. Inspired by the thriving online fragrance community on platforms like TikTok and Instagram, she envisioned an event where people who have connected virtually could finally meet in person.
Attendees can sample new fragrances, meet the people behind their favorite brands, discover emerging perfumers, and learn more about the craftsmanship and storytelling that goes into every bottle. Whether you’re new to fragrance or have an extensive collection, FRAGCON is designed to welcome everyone.
The event also highlights Houston’s growing role as an international destination, with brands and attendees traveling from across the United States and countries around the world to be part of the experience including Houston-based brands Atelier Élixir, Hustlers Scents, and Vice of Vieve plus Italian brand Tiziana Terenzi.
