EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Pollo Loco is expanding its restaurants with a new franchise location in East El Paso.
The newest location, which has been open since June, will hold its official grand opening event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, at 1384 George Dieter.
El Pollo Loco is known for its citrus-marinated, fire-grilled chicken, alongside other great meals such as burritos, bowls, tacos and handcrafted sides.
This comes after the opening of its Airway location last year in October.

During the celebration, guests who visit the restaurant from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. will receive a free two-piece chicken leg and thigh meal, while supplies last. It was noted by the restaurant that the meal was limited to one per guest and valid in-restaurant only.
Additionally, guests can also have the opportunity to spin a prize wheel for the chance to win El Pollo Loco swag, exclusive offers and free menu items, while supplies last.
“We’re excited to celebrate with the El Paso community and continue introducing more guests to everything that makes El Pollo Loco unique,” Ashim Chopra, franchisee of the restaurant,, said. “Since opening our doors, we’ve received an incredible welcome, and this celebration is our way of thanking the community while inviting even more people to experience our signature fire-grilled chicken and Mexican-inspired menu made with quality ingredients.”
According to Chopra, this is the franchise group’s second El Pollo Location and third overall, joining an existing location in Albuquerque.
The restaurant is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and offers dine-in, drive-thru, and takeout services.
