LUBBOCK COUNTY, Texas (KCBD) – The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office said multiple agencies responded to a fire southwest of Idalou Wednesday morning.
According to the LSO, the call for a grass fire was made at 11:50 a.m. near the 6100 block of CR 6450. When deputies arrived, they saw multiple structures, mostly mobile homes, on fire.
LSO says one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Residents were evacuated at the scene.
LSO says the fire has since been contained and multiple properties were damaged. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Idalou Fire, Buffalo Springs Fire and Roosevelt Fire were also called to assist.
