Plano ISD and the Plano ISD Education Foundation proudly hosted the 2026 Teacher Externship Celebration on Tuesday, July 21, 2026.
After spending the summer learning alongside local businesses and community partners, 20 Plano ISD Teacher Externs shared the ideas, workforce insights and authentic learning experiences they will bring back to their classrooms this year. Together, the group recognized the partnerships that are helping connect classroom learning to college, career and life readiness for every student.
