HARRIS COUNTY, Tx – The crashed happened around 11 a.m this morning on the Katy Freeway near SH-99
According to Fire Chief Deacon Tittel with Harris County ESD- 48, two people suffered minor injuries in the crash and were taken to a nearby hospital.

One of the 18-wheelers was hanging over the edge of the Katy Freeway so officials closed all eastbound lanes of the freeway for most of the day.
According to TranSTAR all lanes opened back up at 5 p.m.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating what caused the crash.
