LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Lubbock Metropolitan Special Crimes Unit is investigating a homicide that happened overnight in central Lubbock.
Police were called to the 600 block of Avenue Q around 2:00 a.m. this morning involving an unresponsive male. When they arrived, they found 60-year-old Arnold Tomlunson and began life-saving measures. He was taken to UMC and later pronounced deceased.
According to the investigation, an argument between an unnamed individual and Tomlunson escalated to the suspect assaulting Tomlunson before fleeing the scene.
