The Plano City Council on Monday is set to hire a new police officer and a new wastewater employee.
The City Council meets at 6 p.m. at Plano City Hall, 17 E. Main Street in downtown Plano.
The council is considering the hiring of Dominic Picciola as a police officer and Cole Adams as a wastewater employee.
Aldermen will also consider a $142,000 contract with Innovative Underground for sanitary sewer rehabilitation and a $650,000 contract with D Construction for the 2026 road program, which includes about 2.7 miles of road.
The council is also set to honor the Plano 14U boys baseball champions.
Aldermen are expected to approve paying about $700,000 in bills. A committee of the whole meeting will follow.
