The Dallas Express Sports Network (DXSN) is heading to Oxnard, California, this week as the Dallas Cowboys open training camp for the 2026 season.
DXSN will be on site to bring North Texas fans coverage from the Cowboys’ opening week at the River Ridge Playing Fields. The trip gives viewers a close look at Dallas’ second training camp under head coach Brian Schottenheimer as players compete for starting jobs and roster spots.
The Cowboys will arrive in Oxnard later Monday. The club will hold its opening press conference Tuesday, followed by its first open practice Wednesday and a second open practice Thursday, according to the team’s official camp calendar.
Oxnard Fan Night will follow Friday, and the Cowboys will hold their opening ceremony and another open practice Saturday. The broader camp schedule includes joint practices with the Los Angeles Rams and New Orleans Saints before Dallas opens preseason play August 15 at Seattle.
Dallas enters camp with quarterback Dak Prescott leading the offense and a revamped defense under new coordinator Christian Parker. The team is trying to rebound after consecutive losing seasons while working new players into prominent roles.
