DALLAS — A fatal crash closed all the westbound lanes of the President George Bush Turnpike at Marsh Lane, officials said.Â
The crash was reported around noon Thursday, Nov. 6, in the westbound lanes of the Turnpike near Marsh Lane, the North Texas Tollway Authority said in a press release.
A preliminary investigation revealed that an Isuzu Sweeper Truck experienced a tire blowout, causing the vehicle to crash into a concrete barrier and overturn, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).
The driver, 46-year-old Tharnell Duncan of Dallas, was pronounced deceased at the scene, DPS said.
The investigation is ongoing, and drivers should expect delays in the area, officials said.Â
