EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — El Paso is celebrating after one of its own brought home a national pageant crown from Philadelphia.
Madison “Maddie” McGuire, an El Paso native and Miss El Paso USA, was crowned Miss U.S. International 2026 during the national competition held this weekend in Philadelphia’s historic Center City.
McGuire represented Texas as Miss Lone Star State and competed against delegates from across the country to win the title. The win positions her to represent the United States internationally at Miss International in Japan.
Maddie is a wonderful young woman who has worked her way up from Model to beauty queen in our area,” said Jacqueline Garcia, CEO of Bazaar Model Management and director of Miss El Paso USA. “She represents with integrity, compassion, leadership, and carries El Paso in her heart. Watching her capture the national title has been an unforgettable moment for her family and our team who has believed in her journey.
McGuire previously held the Miss El Paso USA title before advancing to represent Texas at the national level.
Her crowning in Philadelphia made her the newest ambassador for the Miss U.S. International Organization, a role that includes travel and community service.
Now wearing the national crown, McGuire plans to use her year of service to promote leadership through community involvement and workouts aimed at creating “accesible moment to all” through her platform, “Let’s move El Paso, and Let’s Move America,” an initiative she began in El Paso.
She is expected to represent both Texas and the United States in the year ahead.
